MEETING A NECESSARY NEED
In May 2000 Dr. Brent Siemens opened Allied Medical Center, a Family Medical
Practice, in Bethany, OK to provide healthcare to an underserved area.
HOW AND WHY WE BEGAN
By 2003, it was clear that many of our patients had to seek treatment without
financial healthcare assistance. Whether uninsured or underinsured, most of them had neither access to Medicaid or the advantage of
traditional health insurance. Clinic management launched research to identify options for providing the community with affordable healthcare.
In March 2005 the ALLIED MEDICAL MEMBERSHIP was born. Beginning with services in the
Bethany/Northwest Oklahoma City clniic, the plan was to expand throughout the Oklahoma City metropolitan area and make individual and family
healthcare truly affordable.
THE NEXT GENERATION IN HEALTHCARE
New clinics opened in Southwest Oklahoma City in January 2006, and in the Midwest City
area in Spring 2007.
IMPROVED CUSTOMER CARE
To provide Members with fast, easy customer service, a Membership Office was
opened right next door to the Bethany clinic.
